I am using a set of M/T Sportman PRO tires (31 x 16.5 )and they are a little wear . I want to go to the track and race not changing tires .

Do I got another tire option this size 31 x 16.5 -15 with good drag/street compounded like the BFGdrag radials ,E/T STREET RADIAL ??

I had 31 x 16.5 Sportsmen Pro's on my Camaro.
Switched to a 32 x 17 ET Street.
They work much better.
I can't speak for the life yet.
I also lost the tubes at the same time.

I have run sportsman pro's for several years. Just switched to E.T. streets last year. Im not any quicker with these tires but much more consistant. They hook much better on "slippery" tracks. Not much good for street use though. I carry a set of T/As with me in case the weather turns bad. Driving home on the freeway once on my sportsman pros, it started misting and I hit the slightest bit of standing water. Next thing I knew I was traveling sideways and my Wife was screaming in fear. I said a silent prayer to Dale Earnhart and somehow he guided me through (Thanks Dale). However my buddy who was also running sportsman pros was noy so lucky. He totaled his 69 SS 427 powered Chevelle on a wet highway at about 50 mph. When thy let go they give no warning. I'll never run any of these DOT street/race tires on the highway if there is any moisture at all. Also, one of my friends put a set of the new mickey thompson drag radials on his 4 speed GTO and he says they hook as good as his slicks do. hes running 1.50 60 ft times in a high 10 second car on nitrous. I tried BFG dragradials for awhile and they worked great, but wore out in about 5 trips to the track.
