From What I Can See It Is An 1971 Malibu 2 Door Factory Duel Exhaust Long Type Big Block Mufflers Has No Engine And Trans But Has Down Shift Switch On Gas Pedal Bracket(400 Trans Only Came Behind Big Block ????) Looks Like Factory Bucket Seat Mounts And Console Mounting But Long Non-ss Dash (not Round Pods) No Ss Emblems No A/c No Power Brakes No P/s Ss Rims Camaro-ish Type Not Rallys Can't Get Hood Open Body Damage To Get To Cowl Tag And He Won't Let Me Dissamble Front End To Get Hood Open Until I Put A Down Payment It Rusted Into The Earth It Came From But If Is Some Sort Of An Odd Ball Do You Think It Is Worth The Work ??????? I HAVE DONE MAJOR SHEET METAL WORK BEFORE http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/e...view=slideshow (http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee236/jeff-wat/?albumview=slideshow)

It could be a Malibu 400. It would have a big block 400 (402). They are fairly rare as many were cloned to SS cars as all of the big block specific parts were all there.

The TH400 trans was optional behind any V8. The BB came in 402ci in the Malibu 400 and even the Heavy Chevy as well as the SS of course (402 and 454). The dash and vin would suggest a Malibu 400 like Paul stated. The Heavy Chevy would have a Chevelle vin 13437xxxx... and not a Malibu Vin 13637xxxx...
