ok whats the difference, what areas do these excel in?

Dual plane intakes are better performers for the street. It'll give you better response in the lower rpm range, but will sacrifice top end. The single plane on the other hand is the opposite. It'll be sluggish in the lower rpm range, but definatly improve your top end. Hope I helped smile.gif

That's b/c the runners are longer on the dual plane AND thus promote better torque production at lower rpm's vs the generally, shorter, but larger single plane's runners that suck better at high rpm but are sluggish at lower rpm's...

It's an rpm application deal is all..

One add's power down low whereas the other takes it away down low and add's it up top sorta deal..
