Ok guys, i called my head porter last night to discuss the problem. heres what he said. first the super victor was not his favorite intake. he also asked if i was running a spacer, yes a 4 hole i replied. he said remove the carb and look through the spacer into the runners in the intake. the way the intake runners enter the plenuim there is a bias to the 4 corners. a 4 hole spacer directs the fuel with a running start right into the 4 outer runners. he said to replace it with a open spacer, this would give the intire intake a chance to work. this i did today and made my road test. all the plugs are now white and has a slight surge so i can begin dialing the carb in. i used the 1" spacer. im somewhat limited to space under my hood even with a 2" cowl hood. If i ever get a chance to get to the track i can make some temporary changes and see what works best though. right now my concern is just to get it where i can drive it when the mood hits
