The Project "Quick 8" SS Chevelle is almost to the stage of putting the tires on the ground after it comes out of paint. After finding there was engine damage, the motor is now bigger and better. The car is in the booth and about to be finish sanded, the color wil be a big surprise smile.gif . The engine build can be found here. Along with plans for the final shoot and recap of the whole build magazine style.

Thanks Rob, We're pretty excited ourselves, as I know that the car turned out lighter than expected and all new glass will be in it plus all the mouldings and trim.

Lous cars are about the cleanest and nicest I've ever seen at an event. The color is being kept secret and I'm very good friends with the painter, so what's that telling ya.

The car is NSCA and Pro Super Street legal, 25.2 Stock rad support and all. Our main intent is to run the quik-8 10.5 program at Cecil and Atco. Thanks for kind words. Lou

Beautiful car........I can't wait to see it at Cecil. Any ideas when you'll have the car out for the first time??

Cecil quik-8 for test and tune maybe. The car has been together and running, however final checkout and prep work is very time consuming. The painter should be done this week.

I should be there as long as it doesn't get rained out again. I saw the red Chevelle last year and was totally impressed with the car. My SS is being done now but it's no where near as radical as yours. It most likely won't be out until at least September.
