260 Jul 10th, 99, 6:35 PM Anybody read the new Popular Hot Rodding August issue?On page 32 there is Redline owner Tim Kerrigan's LS6 Chevelle.They show a picture of the original invoice.On it lists the K66 option.I have many books and manuals,none say the tranistor ignition was an option.Maybe dealer add on??What do you think? Coppertop Jul 10th, 99, 8:15 PM K66 was the rpo in 1965 and 1966 for transistor ignition. I heard it was troublesome and so it never caught on. Not available on an LS6! Something is fishy there! BTW, Hey 260, don't you have an Autumn Gold Chevelle? My '70 was originally that color, do you the original paint on yours?
