a lot of us have had a tough year. losing pets and loved ones, and other assorted catastrophies. i hope everybody gets threw with the least amount of hurt.

my s-i-l is in iraq, he was offered a pass home for the holidays, but gave it to somebody with kids, then flew an american flag over bagdad, then had it folded and framed, sent it to me for christmas.....

while i'm here with my new shop vac, and misc. nicities, i want to let anybody who has family away for the holidays, you and yours are in my thoughts, and i wish you all health, wealth and happiness for the coming year.....

Bill, your son-in-law is a stand-up guy for what he did for one of his buddies. I worked with a few guys like that in my Navy career. No better guys than those, and they'll have a friend for life like that. He'll also get the respect of everyone in the command. He'll get his reward tenfold. You must've taught him well, congratulations for a great job.
