Why not a 4" Harwood with the show quality underside? Totally bolt-on with provision to use your hood latch if you choose.

I would like a steel 4" cowl hood for my '70 SS Elky too !!! :beers:
I guess I'll have to buy the 4" steel cowl scoop and build my own on a stock hood .

I think the chevelle cowl hood scoop needs to start down at the front of the hood and go all the way up just like camaros {the harwood l-88 style cowl hoods for chevelles}

I have a chevelle but always thought the cowl hood on the camaro looks better as it starts at the front

It will probally never happen though ??

Yea I know, I'll probably end up with a Harwood! I just hear they need some trimming for wipers, and such. I know my steel Goodmark went on without a hitch!

Don't they make one for 67? Ya think they would have a 70 version!

Definately need trimming for wipers and little rubber bumpers on the inside of your fenders, still a nice piece though.

Butch,

My Glasstek 4" cowl hood on my '71 starts at the very front and tapers to the back. That is why I went with the Glasstek over the Harwood.

the one thing I have never liked about the Harwood and the Glass tech hoods is the ridge down the middle. A cowl hood does not have that thick ridge. The one I have does not have it.
But to each there own.
