Hey guys, i am about to start diving into my first holley rebuild. I was looking at the summit website and there are a ton listed without real clear explanation. I have a holley 3310 vac sec that is about 3 years old. I got it used from a guy about a year and a half ago, i still have the original box. It has been sitting since then. I want to rebuild it just to prevent leaks etc... I hear when they sit for a while they are prone to this. Any opinions on that also? Thanks a lot guys.

From Summit, HLY-37-754. This kit has about everything you need (with the exception of replacement floats) to rebuild your 3310. It does not include a power valve, this might need replaced, and be careful if you should decide to remove the jets, try not to screw up the slot when you remove them. Also, get a good book that specifically addresses rebuilding Holley carbs. While these are the simplest carbs to rebuild, not all of the possible adjustments are obvious.

Thanks! How would i tell what jets are in there now? What would be a good baseline to start on for a 440 (.060 over 427) 10:1 compression, large oval heads 215 heads with 2.19/1.88 valves and basic port cleanup, performer rpm intake, 1 3/4 headers, 3.55 gears and a 2400 ss converter?

Stock jets are 72 primary and a metering plate in the rear (no changeable jets) I forget what the equilavent jetting is.
The aforementioned stock calibration is certainly a good starting point for reasonable street/strip performance and will run fine out of the box.Just be sure to run either the 2nd from lightest yellow or purple spring for the secondaries.
