This is the cam i will probably be putting into my 350 rebuild project, just wondering if anody has had any experience with this cam, sound, perfomance. Or if anybody wants to recomend me a different one for same application, thanks

I've had this cam in my street rod (331") for about 4 years now. Great idle, good street manners. Can't say what it is performance wise, never been on a times quarter with it. They see the car and start wanting roll cages, driveshaft loops, harness this and that. I do know it rocks from 0 to 90 with a 3.73 rear end and 2000 stall convertor in a 2600 pound car.

I run the 270H in my, otherwise stock, 350. I really like the idle, and the sound the cam produces.
With this cam, I only make about 10.5" of vacuum, and without the carb tuned well, the engine runs very rich. As long as you keep your carb tuned, the cam should be fine.

My friend had an RHS 350 with this cam in a mid 80's Camaro. I think it was 8.5 comp. with a 1.94 valve head, Performer intake and vacuum sec. Holley. It had a th350 w/stock converter and what ever gear the car came with. This combo ran high 13's on street tires.

Imho, it is the largest advertised duration cam you can run and expect decent performance in a stock, say 9.5 to 10 to 1 CR. motor b/c all of the cam makers say it is the largest cam that can be run using a stock converter..
A dandy cam to me...
