If you do a search on soda blasting you will find that it is highly discouraged. Good luck! -MATT

I've had some soda blasting done and it works great for certain applications. You can't run it through your home blaster that I know of. Around here it is about the same price as sand blasting. I just got a quote for the 67 to do the complete body, jambs, inner doors hood and trunk for $800. I'm having some 22" aluminum wheels done now that have some clear flaking off and he's charging me $100 or less depending on how long it takes. He's setting up another booth to shoot walnut shell also. The biggest thing with soda is prep, the parts have to be washed with a vinegar/water solution and I usually do that with a red scotch brite pad and have never had a problem with adheision. I've painted parts directly after a wash and I've also gone over parts with 180 grit for primer, never had one problem.

x-system is correct.. when soda blasting you need the coolest and driest air possible. All soda blasting systems run 2-3 water seperators and 1 large cfm air cooler, thats the reason the systems cost so much.
