If it's for an Olds, it will have only one tapped hole where the cam gear bolts onto. The Chevy will have three.

Jim,

Sorry about the mix-up. Is the cam marked with the grind number you wanted, and is it a BBC? The spec card is always the last thing done, so it may not reflect the actual cam you have. This is true of all cam companies, and is a common source of confusion. Lunati's spec card program was written by their old cam designer, who is now Bullet Cams' cam designer. I have already brought my disatifaction to them.
As far as Lunati being "Harold's Cam Company", I'm afraid it was in business before I knew how to design a cam, and I'm merely the latest employee. I design cams, and I make suggestions that I think will improve things. I have no power to change their rules.
However, we had a very successful show at PRI, and my boss remarked on Saturday that they should have a number dispenser to line up the people that wanted to talk to me.

Jim,

Let me know the cam grind and your E-Mail address, and I'll send you a correct spec card.

Yea, I had a problem also. I cancelled my order. Maybe I'll try again next year. I'll put the CC 294S in since I had it on the shelf. I was looking forward to the 288/296 potential for the stroker I'm putting together. :( :(

Patience, gentlemen!
Sure, right now, there is a few issues with delivery of Harold's cams. There are going to be mixups. You're dealing with a large corporation releasing a new line of product.
For example, my cam sat on Lunati's shelf, completely finished ground and ready to ship, for 2 weeks just waiting on a part number to be assigned to it.
I'll tell y'all....it was WELL worth the wait!! graemlins/thumbsup.gif
Good things are worth waiting for...

Good things are worth waiting for... I hear ya Bill! I already run an Ultradyne, that's why I'm antsy to upgrade to the solid!! But it's frustrating to think you have a cam ordered only to call to check on it's status and nobody knows nuthin!!!

Patience? How much does it take? Reminds me of the cartoon with two buzzards sitting on a wire. One says to the other,"Patience my a$$, I'm gonna kill something". :D

Hey Von buddy, funny you would make mention of the two buzzards cartoon. You will not believe this but I had that exact cartoon hanging on my room wall in Dang Nang, Vietnam. Take care.

Harold, Ive been gone this week, sorry it took so long. The cam papers say it is for an olds. v8. It only had 2 bolt up holes, insted of 3, and it should already be back, I shiped it monday and I payed shiping. I was not going to install it till after xmas so no big deal.
