If you have a pair of front disc conversion brackets desinged for C5 calipers can they also work with 98-02 LS1 front calipers? I've already got the brackets for the C5 but have located a killer deal on a pair of LS1 front calipers. Are they interchangeable? Are the piston sizes the same? Thanks, Scott! Merry Christmas!

I think the only difference between the C5 caliper and the 98-02LS1 camaro caliper is that they are made out of different material(C5 caliper stronger due to this) and the caliper bolts that connect caliper to the caliper bracket are bigger in diameter( I think LS1 camaros are 11mm C5's are 14mm)
Hope this helps.

They are definitely interchangable. That is a swap that lots of people do in the 4th generation f-body world. The calipers are the same physical dimensions. The F-body caliper has a bigger piston, but the C5 caliper is made of better materials. I currently have a complete set of f-body calipers that I bought when someone was swapping to a set of Z06 calipers (red powdercoated). The f-body caliper will bolt directly to the Corvette caliper abutment bracket and vice versa.
