Has anyone ever put small speakers in the oval hole where the sail panel goes? If so what would you recommend? We are putting in kick panels with speakers, dual front speaker and 6" x 9" in the package shelf. I thought this would be a goo place for a set of small speakers. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Larry

Hmm that’s a thought. It might sound good from the driver's seat but I’m sure it would blast the hell out of someone's ear if they ever sat in that back seat. Plus it might look a little odd depending on the color scheme and how much it sticks out. In my setup I have 5 1/4 rockfords in the front kicker panels, infinity 6X9's on the back shelf, two tweeters mounted up on that rail between the diver/passenger window and the windshield, and a 12” Kicker CVR sub in the trunk. It a well rounded system and sounds great. The only thing I plan on doing is replacing the 5 ¼ rockfords with 6 ½ infinities up front. Infinity makes great speakers that are clear as a bell and can really blast out some tunes.

For someone sitting in the back it will suck.. The 6X9's in the back alone will hurt ears. You could put them there and hid them behind the headliner or whatever goes there so you don't have speakers grills showing. I don't think you would need them.

6X9's or component set in the package tray will work great.... you could even mount them to get the staging where you want.

A Set Of Tweeters.. Aimed Forward At A 45% Angle Of The Sail Panel..
Will Get The Highs To The Front Of The Car.. And Not In Line Of The Rear Passangers Ears...
That With Mid Drivers In The Dash.. Will Be Killer

Thanks, I was leaning toward tweeters due to the size and the would hide nicely behind the sail panel. Guy's I agree it could be loud on someones ears in the back if not done right.

Thanks
