The bushings in the housing came out just like Buck Mustard (Thank you very much) said; I drilled out the rubber, collapsed the shell and drove them out. I'm still having trouble with the ones in the arms though (I have only been able to remove one of the arms so far). I first tried blaster and then beat the hell out of it, then I drilled out the rubber and and I still haven't got the darn things out yet. A while back there was post something like "You the installation went well when", well I know it's not going well when I twist a 7/16" bolt in two. Anybody got any ideas?

My 69 rear control arm bushings have a spot of weld on them from the factory. Check this.

We made up a "U" shaped piece to fit around the control arm bushing to keep the arm from collapsing and pressed the old bushings out and the new ones in. Ours had no tack welds but they would be a good insurance idea.
