I ran a post about a stroker closed chambered motor I just bought and I was trying to identify the cam before I installed the motor. I pulled the cam and it measured 545 lift on all lobes. It was supposadly a GM cam and had 890167 as a part number, also 13 03 00 . I want a driver with power brakes and a 4 speed. Does anyone know how to identify this cam?
Thanks

It doesn't have enough numbers to be a G.M. cam. All i've seen have a seven digit part number. For instance the ZL-1 is part #3959180. You'll have to measure that lobe in two directions and subtract the smaller number from the larger number to get actual lobe lift. If you could have degreed it before removing it your task of identifing it would be much easier. Is it a hydraulic flat tappet, solid flat tappet, or some kind of roller?

I did subtract the numbers and multiplied it by 1.7 to get the 544. I did it on several lobes to make sure I got an intake and exhaust lobe. I guess I should locate a degree wheel. I'll check the cam for more numbers.
Thanks.
I do see a CWC next to the fuel pump lobe.

Sorry-Not enough info? BBC-SBC? Hydraulic-solid-roller? Just a guess-If this is a BBC-maybe a summit hydraulic?
