Hello,
Chris I read in one of your other posts that you have a G-Tech... I've had one for a while and always thought it was kinda accurate and have come to find out it's not. My car always G-Teched well into the 13's and somtimes in the lower half but mostly mids(best 13.28@113 with the posi)(best G-tech w/o posi was 13.69@110, but I've had it to the track and it ran a 13.80 at 101...It didnt dead hook. The track was a while back and I didn't have the posi in but currently does.
My question finally is whether or not your car dead hooks at the track. You only use 235/60 DR right? If it does how did you accomplish that?
Also, what are you getting for 0-60 times and how accurate do you think they are? I've gotten 5.25 with the posi on 265/50 15 radials and 5.8switout the posi.
If anybody else wants to add please do and thanks in advance.
On a side note if you don't have a posi look into the powertrax lockers. I put the no-slip one in and it is the best money I spent on the car.

I've had Gtech 0-60 results in the 4.47-4.65 range and 1/4 mile has been been from 13.09/117 MPH to 13.54/109 MPH on drag radials
Pretty interesting as I've run anywhere from 12.99 to 13.5X's at the track, but at 100-103 MPH
I've also tried a few 0-60's (best 4.59) with street radials (225/70/14 Futura's) and (1) 1/4 mile "run" a 13.34/109 MPH
My car doesn't dead hook on drag radials..my best 60 ft at the track is 1.83 and I average in the 1.9X's and thats coming out slow and going to WOT asap, but I still get spin.I'll be trying it out at the track to see how far its off,and even then it will be a little questionable as I race at a track that 700 ft. above sea level and I'm at about 60 ft. above sea level. It could be used as a tool IMHO or even get a reasonable guesstimate for your ET,just don't put any stock into the MPH...it sure isn't a replacement for a timeslip, thats for sure.
BTW,check out your pictures-nice looking ride and impressive et's too graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Holy smokes that was fast...the response not the times...well those are fast too graemlins/clonk.gif
Thanks for the info...
That's not to much difference between the steet radials and drag radials. Do they hook about the same ... I think I remember someone saying they can blow there tires away at 35-40 and I was thinking it was you but I'm not sure.
I'm thinking about purchasing a pair of drag radials, thats why I ask. I'm looking to make the car dead hook on the street as long as it's dry and I thought DR would do it since I dont have a big block. Pretty much just how much difference is there between a street radial and drag radail.
Thanks for your time.

Drag radials do work..the ability to "roll" the throttle and quickly go to WOT happens alot quicker with dr's then street radials. They don't break loose in 2nd gear at part throttle either,as my 225/70/14's will light the tires nicely at 30-40 MPH in 2nd (TH400)
