To those of you who have followed this:

I had a nice chat with Mike Lewis (AKA Wolfplace) and have decided to go with the Isky Red's. Piece of mind is pretty much priceless.....kind of like those credit card ads...but not quite as sappy!

We had a nice chat about more than just car stuff.
Always a pleasure to "meet" someone new via the internet, chances none of us ever had in the past. Those of you who have spoken to him know what I mean!

So a very heartfelt thanks Mike!

And thanks to all of you who responded personally and in the forum. Your comments are appreciated more than you know.......god, this is sounding sappy......

Anyway, I just hope that I can finish the project in a couple of months and get out to the track and see how she runs. Damn back surgery is going to cost me a good chunk of my engine project money. But I'll find a way!

Mike, thanks again, look forward to chatting again with ya again. BTW....my engine guy didn't remember the SOHC fellow you mentioned...but he is getting old....maybe the memory is going!
