Does anyone know if this pan fits a stock 68' cross member. It has a 10.5" long rear sump and is 5" deep at the front. My engines out so I'd have to stick stuff back in to measure.

My 70 Chevelle crossmember could only take a 4.5 front sump pan depth according to the guys over at Stef's Fabrication...........

I just went trough something similar to this with my 64, BBC and Moroso's " power kickout " pan that is 5" deep at the front, Crossmember HAD to be modified which wasnt a big deal. BUT .. then the pan hit the draglink. I tried to find a pitman arm with a 3" drop so I could drop the drag link ( and modify idler arm mount ) Ends up I couldnt find the correct pitman arm. I'm now going to a R & P steering unit.

That's what I'm in the process fo doing now............lol
