I recently aquired a set of 67-69 camaro bucket seats. IM not sure which of the years they have the hard plastic backs. What I am wondering is if the upholstry for a 67 chevelle would work on them, or what seats are the same as 67 cheveele buckets.

Not even close. The factory style covers available reproduction will not inter-change between Camaro and Chevelle. Better off putting them in the classifieds www.camaros.net/classifieds and buying chevelle seats.

Chevelle seats are larger, taller, and have more cushion. They are more comfortable than a Camaro seat IMHO. Chevelle seats (A body seats) are used in GTO,s, 442's, Buick GS's, Gran prixs, Monte Carlos and all the cheaper versions of the same car (LeMans, Cutlass's, etc) from 66 to 72. If you bolt those Camaro seats in your Chevelle you will barely be able to see over the dash board. They probably won't line up with your exsiting bolt hole either.
