Can anyone direct me to the dimensions of the different generations? I understand the gen 5 was a smaller version, but would really like to know the difference in the length between 5 and earlier versions. I am interested in purchasing one of the 80's models, but want to make sure it will fit in my garage, 'cause I ain't gonna keep my tools outside!

Any opinions on which years might be better? And what about the v6, in light of current and future gas prices, would they be a consideration over the 350?
