67-LS6

I need to get a head liner for the 67, I have heard there are a couple of different contractors that make most of the repro stuff. I can verify this. several yrs ago I bought an ignition strip from a supplier,[can't remember who] and it was was the worst looking piece of junk I ever saw, then got one from Luttys and it was real close to the orginal. Anyhow, wondering if anyone has had similar experiences with headliners. I have an order ready for Ground Up and would get the headliner from them if they are suitable
thanks

I believe if you order from Ground up you will get a headliner from PUI. I just put one in my 65, using the directions that were posted in this forum, and had no problems with it. Fit was good and plenty of material.
Good luck

I ordered a set myself, hopefully it fits. I talked to a upholstery guy this weekend. He told me on certain 68-72 headliners got out with wrong spacing between the 2nd and 3rd bows. He warned me to measure the spacing before attempting installation. jim

Oh the ole bow and clip headliner...as long as it hasn't been on the shelf so long it has dry rotted...as long as the cotton listings (???haha) are still nice and supple...as long as your clips are not brittle and your bows are in the right place...and as long as you follow the proper procedure...your headliner should look darn good no matter where you procure it...the real question is do you want ribbed or perforated or whatever... :)

Ground up sells PUI interiors, ordered the headliner from them for my 70 last spring. looks good, no problems.
