Talk about a desire to own a 61' Impala vert!
Don't you just love to see stories like this when someone saves a car that most would write off as scrap iron!:beers:

There is alot of great work going on the with that project. Not to down it at all, but this definately shows that the better the car is that you start with, the better the project will be in the long run when finished. Put a bow on a pig and you will end up having a pig with a bow......Not a show dog! I have done several projects like that, where we ended up using only the roof and some inner structure from the original car, the rest was cobbled together. Sometimes it's worth it, you just have to weigh your options.

Where there's a will there's a way! A job that big...hope he doesn't burn out and quit after this much work. He did have good metal to work with from the donor cars.

It would be nice to find a cheap 4 door Chevelle that had quarters and metal that good. Forget buying patch panels!

wonder how much he has spent for gas and wire!

As always, the more you spend in the beginning for a better car the more it saves in the long run, and the better car you end up with.

Makes me glad I spent 2500 bucks on a nice darn near rust free car, that rust bucket stuff is for the birds.
