whatever he is puffin, he needs to puff puff pass. That is some high class grass he's smokin. No one in their right mind would do that to a chevelle

The shame is that he put a TON of work into that to make it look like CRAP..... It's funny how he made the body look modern, then put wheels on it from the 80's :D

Are we sure he doesn't do the designing for GM? Looks like what the "new" chevelle would look like.

The wheels don't fit it like the body kit:mad: I agree fully but..on a nicer side twards the owner of the car,if he lowered it and put bigger rims on it,it would look like a retro chevelle...still........not my slice of cake if you ask me:o

If I had a shop, I'd hire that guy and channel his talents in a more productive direction. He appears to do quality work. We have a similar neighbour with similar ideas to his.

I wanna see one person come forward and say they like it...

I can see building something off the wall to be different and keeping it...but he is trying to sell that piece of crap...

We already had a big discussion about that car a few weeks ago.

You know, for that price, that car could be a decent starting point for a "normal" build. Yank the body, remove the bling, sand blast and presto, you might just have something that you can work with under all that plastic and body mud. Next step is trash the night rider interior but leave the drivetrain and it just might be worthy of taking out into public.

That looks like some of the customized cars I used to see in the 1980's. I'll bet that's when the work was done.

That thing would have been great in Mad Max, it looks like something from Australia.

Well... it's definitely an attention getter. It looks like good work- To each their own.
I'm sure someone out there would buy it.

As angular as it is... there is a car that NEEDS some black stripes!!

I actually looked at trading my truck for this car earlier this year. I talked to the guy about the car and it was built some time ago, back when customizing anything was cool. The plan would have been to modify the car back to original. Then plans changed with having our 3rd child. He was a nice guy and the car, whether you like it or not, was done very nice. Also, a fuel injected small block and 700R4 would make it a great daily driver.

look at the dash cluster out of a trans am. they must have got that from the some car they stole the drivetrain from.

I cant say I like it but also cant see the big outcry either. how many 30-40-50 cars do we see in the shows and mags that have been chopped and modified and look nothing like original. To each their own. At least it looks like some time and effort was put into it, and not bad body work from what I see. No duct tape anyway!!

looks like someone bought it, $9000.00+. more work in it than that $. (missguided work, but never the less....)

Why did he mess up a 69? He could have found a 70 Chevelle and done that.

Junkyard Dawg
Dec 20th, 07, 12:12 AM
Better yet he could've done that to a '73-'77 Chevelle. :D
