I was given BCP6ET, I think by big gear head. YIKES! They're $5 a pop! Summit shows another p/n/ for 14mm extended tip non-resistor at $2.39/ea. Cross ref is Auto 3924 or AC FR3LS. Any p/n for the NGKs? Summit shows a few that might work. Thought I'd ask in case anyone here is using them.
Whoops, nevermind. Found the BCP6ETs for 3.19. More than the ACs I've been using, but not $5-6 a pop.

I use the r5671a-8 available at most speed shops and even a few of the local auto parts stores for $2.25 each.It is the shorty 5/8 so it is a little easier with some of the nuisance headers.

Bob, that's where I saw them for $3, and since the local Carquest only shows two in the wherehouse ( Peugoet sp? plugs btw), I'll use the online service.
Thanks Pat, I don't need shorties, but do prefer the 5/8 nut vs 13/16".

the 1263(stock number) or BP6ET is a 13/16 14mm gasketed non resister plug.
the 4563 or BCP6ET is a 5/8s 14mm gasketed non resister plug.
both of these plugs have 3 ground electrodes kinda like the bosch platinum +4, but are a standard copper plug. they are more expensive, and from looking at the catalog at work i believe these plugs were originally intended for aircraft use.
i have used a set of the BP6ET in my 427, yes they are more expensive but they were the best plugs i have found so far. before i got the rich idle situation under control these plugs had lasted longer than any other set i had used up to that point.
this was all discussed in one of your old posts from 2002.

I was primarily interested in the non-3 electrode deal since my new engine runs clean as can be. Brandon, the Carquest here only had 2 of the 5/8" style in the wherehouse. I don't want the 13/16".
Do you have any idea what the same plug in a standard electrode # is?
3 electrodes are that much better??
BTW, sparkplugs.com wants $8.50 to ship. $1 a pop. Sheesh. Gotta find them locally.

same thing here, i stock the 1263 but not the 4563.
in my experence the more electrodes help with fouling. they just last longer, other than that i havent found a difference.
