Just wondering what the standard deck height on a 350 is and how thck are head gaskets usually?

I could be worng but I thought that a zero deck motor is 9.0" from crank center line. I am no expert but that number comes to mind. For head gaskets I know of 2; the standard one should be .040-.045 and the other sometimes refered to as shims are .015.

An uncut deck will " generally " be in the 9.020 - 9.030 range .. gasket ?? I dont know
