Near the Valve Stem will be coded YA, or AO.

AO is commonly coded as the 1970 Year Although it is possible on an extremely early car to have YA.

To the Left of the Valve stem would read the Manufacturers Stamp.

MW= motor Wheel
1= Plant ID
0= year 1970
11= Month November

to the other side of the Valve Stem

12= day of Month
AO= Wheel code (1970 SS Rim)

This information can sometimes vary with manufacturer so if you post the information from your wheels it can be decoded for you.

If you are planning on selling them, I would restore them first. A closely dated, rstored set of AO Wheels can sell for a pretty penny dated correctly for the right buyer.

A completed items search on E-bay will give you an idea of how much they bring.

Didn't see many on there. but found a set of YA's that sold for $820.

Get a couple 70 guys bidding on these AO's and you never know.
