Hi I am currently restoring a 1970 chevelle . I was wondering if anyone knows wherw I can buy some lock cylinder kits. I need the trunk , glovebox, and console locks in one kit. I also need the door and ignition locks in one kit.

How correct do you want to be Chase?

This is a very small matter, but I believe the key slots on the repro kits are perfectly rectangular. Whereas originals had grooves in the key slots to match the key grooves. This was pointed out to me a couple of years ago as mine were the repros and I had no idea of the differences at the time. I eventually sourced a full original set from a 1969 car, buffed them up and put them in. 999 people out of a 1,000 would probably never notice, but at least I know ;)

Original sets show up on eBay every so often or you could likely get a set from a salvage yard. Anyway, just thought I would point this out.
