I am interested in making my SS hood work like a cowl induction hood only without the door.

The piece of metal blocking off the tunnel was removed before the hood was repainted, I would just like suggestions as to the best and cheapest way to force air into the engine, perhaps a box that seals to the hood or suggested materials for attaching to the bottom of the hood to create a tunnel.

Or better yet is this even gonna be worth doing?

I was thinking cutting a piece of thin metal or sturdy plastic, cutting a hole in the middle, and sealing that to the underside of the hood might be my best best, but before I start maybe I should consider the work vs. benefit of this...
