recently purchased a 1964 Chevelle with a front bench, the guy i bought the car from gave me a set of bucket seats with home-made tracks on them....he said he thought the seats were out of a 66-67 Nova...I've looked online everywhere and the Nova buckets and Chevelle buckets look to be pretty close to the same...if i got a set of tracks for the Nova buckets, would they bolt up to the chevelle bucket mounts ? or if i found a set of Chevelle bucket tracks, would they bolt up to the Nova bucket seats ? and finally, are the 64/65 bucket seat tracks the same as the 66/67 tracks ? thanx for the help....

Pretty sure the Nova tracks are different from the Chevelle tracks... Typically due to floor pan differences.

Not sure if the tracks are different between 64/65 Chevelles and later Chevelles, but the seats are completely different... 64-65 used one style, and 66-72 used a different style, looking completely different from 64-65.

If you want to eventually use "stock/repro" seat covers, the 64-65 covers won't work. You will need to go custom...

the seat frames look the same, i think i can order the Chevelle covers to fit these seats, will also order the foam too...may just make a set of brackets to bolt them in...thanx for the help...
