i'm in the middle of swapping my manual drums to power disk. i do not have a booster yet and i was wondering two things, which vehicle could i take a booster from out of a junk car, and also i have a monster cam in my small block engine (587/587) so i am thinking i'm gonna have a vacuum problem and dont know if i should even use a booster. i dont know what to do at all

If you managed to drive it with manual drums......Surely manual disc would be a welcome upgrade. Run whatever cam you wish and apply a little extra leg pressure. JMHO of course.
P.S. Dont toss any factory stuff out....set it aside just in case.....

I agree... While Power discs are nice, there's not much wrong with manual discs, the car will stop the same, just you will have to push a bit harder... Sure, if you compare them with modern cars, there's more pedal pressure needed, but even my 85 year old grandma could drive with manual brakes...
Some might say Hydroboost. While thats a nice upgrade, IMO its pretty expensive just to reduce the pedal effort a bit...
