I have a set of 186 double hump heads that appear to be completely original. I pulled them off of my 1970 Monte Carlo. Below are the casting numbers:
3927186
Date code is B 17 0 on both heads
The times dots indicate 1 hour between production.
The valves are 1.94 and 1.50
I was going to save these, but need the money.
Would these be particularly valuable to anyone considering the identical date codes?
By the way, the "GM" numbers are 53 and 55 if that means anything.

YES !!

They are correct for a 1970 Camaro LT1 Z/28 and the Corvette. And a 1970 Yenko Nova.
With screw in studs, guideplates, 2.020 and 1.600 valves, they are correct.

And the dates are excellent. Remember the part year strike at GM in 1969-70. All 1970 Camaros were built during 1970.

If the valve sizes are 1.94 and 1.5, they can be modified for the 2.02 and 1.6 valves and the chamber can be fly cut to resemble the HP version. The screw-in stud conversion is simple.

They're not particularly hard to find. I have a couple sets myself.
I'd estimate the value of the 194 head to be about $150-200 a pr and the true LT1 heads to be about 200-300 a pr. (Both bare).
