What is your opinion as to whether or not the original body solder should be kept in the cosmetic joints or seams such as 1/4 sail panel to roof area or other seams? If you choose to remove it what do you like to put in it's place?

I melt it out, clean the area real well to remove any acid, and use Duraglass from USC company to replace it with.

Depends, if it looks good, no cracks or anything funny looking we leave it and fill on top. If anything looks bad, its gone.

I agree. I had to melt it all out of the Charger..or what was left of it. On the Cuda, I left in all in there as it was in good shape with no rust protruding anywhere near it.

It depends. If you've done it before and have all the stuff you need, I'd stick with the solder. It wouldn't make sense to go out and buy solder, tallow, flux, paddles and body files for a one time use. In that case plastic filler will work fine.
