Hey all, its a bit snowy here in Wisconsin, so no better time to work on the 68 SS 396. I took the dash pad out of the car, because there are 2 small slits on the pad. They resemble a cut that could have happened from a razor blade, and thats it, not torn apart, separated, or anything. Should I still fix these slits with a vinyl repair kit, or is there an easier and better way to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

Anything you buy to use at home will not do a good job. Find a large local car dealer, they will have a guy that can do this that knows what he's doing.
