Does anyone know the "STOCK" height of 72 bumpers front and rear?
This would be from the ground to the bottom of the bumper, I would think?
Did they have 15" wheels cause that would make a difference?
The reason I ask is a friend of mine and I were sitting in front of our cars noting the difference in the heights of the cars.
Mine is a 69, his is a 72, mine is higher than his in the front, but his is higher than mine at the rear.
He contends that the 72's came from the factory with a nose down attitude?
Sooooooooooo to settle this, I figured you guys would know ?
We are talking stock height, no mods.
Thanks for any help T.C.

Thanks for the replies:
I also have a friend who has a 71 and I know is going to ask how high his should be, so if anyone out there can tell me what the stock 71 bumber height's would be I would greatly appreciate it .

The factory specified ride height at the rocker panels not at the bumper. According to the factory assembly manual, the SS coupe should measure 10" from the bottom of the rocker panel to the road at a point 31.5" behind the front wheel center and 24.5" ahead of the rear wheel center.

I would guess the same as the 72's? Anyone know for sure?

Junkyard's guess is correct.

According to my source
72:
front = 14"
rear =15"

or there abouts.

One thing to add: These measurements were taken after jostling the up and then down and then taking the average of the two.
