i have a 69 with an M21 and for some reason and am missing the shifter trim mounting bracket and trim bezel. but i do have the boot. it's just screwed into the carpet. are there any tricks in installing these things? i am getting in the mail soon.

Sounds like you have all 3 things to make it go in.
Boot, mounting bracket, trim bracket.
Must be just like mine no console.
