Ive always been big into the buicks and I know that a matching date code body panels are important. My question is: Are the 1966 chevelles date codes stamped on every body panel ie:fenders, quarters, etc? My car has its orginal engine, transmission, rearend, and pretty much everything else, but it needs a few body panels worked on. They would be much easier to replace, with new ones, but if they have date codes, Id rather find a matching date code body as a donor. I want it to be as close to original as possible. Any help is much appreciated.

I would not worry about date codes on panels in the Chevelle Arena.. if you need new panels.. Get NOS, but leave it there. Nobody will ever look, or care, and that most certainly includes Judging at the highest level.

That's my 5 cents!
