I've done a lot of searching on this site and have gotten some great info on installing a B&M shifter. One question I still have . . .this star shifter is the correct part number for a TH350 but has 7 points of travel, not the 6 I would expect. Do I start at the top with park? or at the bottom with 1st? Makes since to start at the bottom with 1st (to setup the linkage)so the ratchet action will work but I'm concerned the "humps" won't line up on the NSS since I'll never make it up to the top for park. Any thoughts? Sorry if this doesn't make sense . . let me know if it doesn't and I'll try again.

Do it from the bottom (1st) then adjust it so it also goes into park. It should have instructions to do it that way.

put the locking pin in to lock out overdrive function.
