My recently acquired 1970 LT1 Corvette came with a Holley Carburetor, 3969898-GR List 4492 Date: 043 (3rd week April, 1970).

A little research says it's for a 49-state, '70 LS6 Chevelle with an Automatic.

What's the 4492 worth? I know restored, date correct carbs for SpHP optioned Corvettes are going for around $800-$1k. What are these units bringing in the LS6 market? This one hasn't been re-plated and doesn't need it. It looks great, but should have a rebuild from sitting a few years.

This carb was used on the LS6 Chevelle and L78 Nova...by most accounts it is the final production run of these carbs....January 70 date is the next earlier....show quality restored units are bringing around $1500....if you can find them. Small audience of potential customers...but there are some out there..good luck.
