No dash lights on my 70. Before I start rooting around, could it be something simple like the headlamp switch?

Yes, it could be... Can you get in under there to check your voltage going into the switch? and maybe not coming out? Everything else working?

check the fuse for the tail lights. These are usually on the same fuse.
