cant get ac's over the counter at your typical parts store.anybody hear this yet or is it just in las vegas......

Buy 'em all the time here in Central Jersey. Even Pep Boys carries them.

something to the tune of gm bought out all typical parts stores of ac delco and now have to buy them from dealer.at least this is what i was told.i just bought a set two weeks ago.

Just run Autolite's.Iv'e never had problem one with them.

And they are cheap.

My guess is once GM is the only place you can get them they will probably raise the price.If that happens and you still want them, go ahead and get them.Also try a set of NGK V-Power plugs.I bet you won't go back to the AC Delco stuff smile.gif

Did it have anything to do with the NHRA being in town? sponsored by AC Delco? Team Force wins the Funny Car championship again. Too bad they use a :rolleyes: rustang body.

autolites and anything i've ever had don't mix. haven't heard anything about that AC plug deal though. you know that they are probably trying to phase out all the cheap plugs anyway. most parts stores only have listings for a Rapid Fire plug now on anything newer. :mad: what an overrated gimmick that is. $4-$5 a piece for plugs? that's ridiculous. but that's what everythings going to eventually, most likely. but as of now i can still get AC's here at any local parts store.
