Actually, a 69 Trans Am convertible is the most expensive. Only 8 or 9 built. They sell for $1,000,000 plus.

i think it a good deal only 212 built 455 sd this car could get a million in 10 years if gas available for under 5.00 a gallon this car it really the last of the great muscle car era. low miles ect this is the kinda of stuff that can reach that number because ther may be only one left with that low milage

blows my mind, i never thought anything post 72 could sniff 50 grand, shows what i know. For 8,900 miles, i would think it would have its original wheels, tires, and plug wires

Yes it is an 8.5" 10 bolt. Plenty strong enough to handle the power of the 455.

I was thinking the same. For 165k, it should have everything original.

This guy always has some big-bucko car 4 sale. Usually mopars. I've thought about trying to find his house to check out the operation. Its kind of funny if you look at the pics. His place looks like a cuban druglords compound and there is a small ranch accross the street!

Don't forget the $500,000 69 TA hardtop that was on ebay recently.....and the $140,000 example that followed....

The '73 & '74 Super Duty cars are about the only thing that come's to mind. I don't think there are any other cars considered "muscle" after '72.

Yeah, all the houses across the street look modest. And it's hard to miss the Hummer in his driveway, too.

OK
what about the welded exhaust? did not think factory started doing this until like 1976
8,900 miles should have been no reason to replace the exhaust
rims???????

290, IIRC.
The exhaust systems were not stainless steel at this time yet, so with a hard life it could've needed an exhaust. Or at one time the car had headers, which REALLY opens these cars up! My friend had a 72 455HO and it had headers and he put the manifolds back on it and it choked it down badly.
