I'm happy with mine, it runs smooth, has great vacuum, and pulls hard. I have a Performer RPM intake on it, and a GMPP hotcam kit waiting to go in. If I could go back and do it over though, I'd just get the 385FB or the ZZ4 short block, and top it off with some AFR heads, because the L98 heads will end up limiting any serious power. If you're going to be happy in the 350-400 HP range, and are looking for a good, reliable street mill, it will fit your needs nicely.
