Im back! I assembled the Z bar no problem. Everything looks good.

But when I installed the pushrod repo I bought the pushrod scrapes the bottom of the firewall hole. The problem seems to be the bend in the pushrod. I cant flip the pushrod over because it pins to the pedal only in one direction.

Anyone else have an issue with this pushrod?

I am tempted to try the straight 66 pushrod but feel I am just guessing.

The Z bar is in backwards. I spent two hours playing with it. Lets just try and forget about this unfoortunate incident
