I was out in the garage -taking apart a 454 engine that I have had for over 20 years-took the oil dipstick out -cleaned it up and noticed it had a yellow tab and the gm part #3989391-are these worth anything?keep on cruising-Dave.

Well Dave, if it's the same part and part number as the 69 Yellow dipstick then it is worth some good change. I've seen them go for well over $200. I've bid on a few of them on eBay, but don't get anywhere near the selling price, not worth those kind of dollars to me. Maybe there's something I've got you might want to swap for, just a thought.
