I have a 69 chevelle wagon that am trying to put back together with some electrical issues.
1) the negative cable is connected to the alternator bracket.
2) the pos cable goes down to the starter.
battery is charged and there is no sign of electrical at all. Can someone please send me a basic diagram that shows the electrical circuit from the battery to the starter and fuse box. I have no voltegs at the fuse box and in need to know where it is connected to.

Thanks,

CR

Is there supposed to be a fusable link connected to the pos side of the battery? If so, where does it go connected too? I only have a red pos wire to the pos on the battery.

Thanks,

To add to what Greg said, often there is a fusable link on a block to the left (pass side) of the battery. Remove the battery and the smaller +12 Volt line coming from the battery cable usually goes to a distribution block with one threaded bolt and a retaining nut that can be seen with the battery removed. From that block it goes a million places including the inside of the car. Check there as well.
