I have a 67 ss 396 w/ 4 spd and a 3:55 posi. I don't see any front or rear sway bars. Did the 67 come with them? Were they an option? Should I consider getting them? Thanks.

This link should answer alot of your questions. I happen to like the "look" of
a rear sway bar.

I highly recommend that you install at least a front sway bar. The car will drive much, much better with one.

once you've driven an A body with the correct sized swaybars & tires :D

If you put the rear sway bar, you will have to box the lower rear controllarms. They tend to tweek and or crush from torque if not boxed. I have been told you can use a front swaybar from many years of gm cars. Can enyone confirm the cars you can chose?

What about if you use spacers?

When I ordered my new rear sway bar for my Chevelle it came with thick spacers that were for standard C channel style control arms.

I ended up putting new lowers on anyways but then when I bought my 87 Turbo T Regal it too had the same style c channel lower control arms but it had a factory rear sway bar and spacers in the c channels.
