We didn't want to break off; we wanted to take over.....:D But he does have a point; all the old Camino theads are gone. We seem to be limited to only six post in one area with no seperation of diffrent topics. It's like they expire after a day and vanish off the list.

If you look at the bottom of the page when you open the EC section, you will see an option to show threads from the last day, week, month year, etc. but changing it there doesn't make it permanent, best bet is to go into your user CP and change your forum viewing options.

Nothing is missing, they are just not "active" so if no replies within the default two days then you need to choose a longer period of time to display. Activity is what keeps the forum alive and busy. We had asked for more input as to what was needed and nothing was discussed so we have.... one forum at this time with everything lumped in.

Try this link: covers the last 14 days (http://www.chevelles.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&f=43&page=1&pp=25&sort=lastpost&order=desc&daysprune=14)

EXACTLY, the forum default must have changed a couple of days ago, or for some reason a lot of peoples forum view pteferance expired. (mine did also)
To get all the old post back, click on the user PC in the second blue bar near the top of this page, select user options, about the middle of the page is "Thread display options", at the bottom you select the default age cutoff. It's set to forum default (just the last 24 hrs I believe) just select whatever.... you can always change it if you want to look through old old posts. I don't thnk it makes anything load any faster or slower if you select a long history,,,, it's still only loading one page at a time.

Thanks for all the help Al; will do. So we need to start a thread for discussion as to what we would like our area to look like at the end with suggestions, needs, etc. Cool....:beers:

It was a little confusing, so just to clarify for anyone else: I clicked the "User CP" link above; selected "Edit options"; scrolled down to the box "Thread display options"; and changed the "Default thread age cutoff" choice; then clicked save at the bottom. It reset my options.
