ok im doin off chassie resto and on the front suspension on the upper control arms there are shims wut r they for cuz on one side it has 3 and the other side has 1

The shims are for adjusting Camber / Caster.

does the alignment shop do that or no i do i set that and how would i set that

alignment shop does it for you just have a bunch of extra shims.
