red bar that indicates P R N D D1 etc..doesn't move now, and i did not replace the screw that goes into the bottom of the dash above the column, anybody know what size this is.

There's a clip that goes on the column. When you change the gear lever position, there's a part of the column that rotates, which pulls a little wire that is attached to the PRNDL indicator. The PRNDL is also pring loaded, so if it's not attached, it will show in P all the time.
